World Food Day

16 Oct 14:30 - 15:15

We are delighted to invite you to join us on Wednesday, 16th October at 2:30 PM to celebrate World Food Day. This special event provides us with a wonderful opportunity to come together as a school community and celebrate our diverse cultures and heritages.

As part of the celebration, we would love for pupils to come to school dressed in outfits that reflect their heritage. This is a fantastic way for the children to share and take pride in their cultural backgrounds.

We would also like to invite parents to bring in a dish that represents their culture or family tradition. Please ensure that any food brought in is accompanied by a label listing all the ingredients, as we need to be mindful of allergies within our school community. Please note that we are a nut-free school, so no dishes containing nuts can be brought in.

We kindly ask that you provide consent for your child to taste the various foods that will be available during the event. A list of allergies will be shared in advance to ensure everyone's safety.

We look forward to seeing you on the day and celebrating the rich cultural diversity that makes our school so special. Thank you in advance for your participation and support.

If you have any questions or need further information, please do not hesitate to contact your class teacher.
