Our Mission and Vision are central to the tailored environment, curriculum, teaching and learning offered within our ELP for children with Autism and Complex Communication Needs. At Tudor Academy, we embrace a collaborative and tailored approach to our provision for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). We aim to provide children with the most positive educational experiences, enabling all children to participate in, and enjoy learning, taking account of their specific strengths and needs.
We endeavour to support children so that they are happy, confident, and independent individuals who are able to reach their full potential in all areas of their development. In order to do this, we place relationships and communication development at the heart of all that we do, actively encouraging partnership with families to ensure consistency between home and school wherever possible. We work hard to provide a high quality, speech and language rich provision both indoors and outdoors in order to promote shared experiences and engagement with others, as well as a love of learning. This provision is set within a safe, communication friendly and low arousal environment where careful consideration is given to the individual needs of all our learners.
The Curriculum & Daily Timetable:
We understand that as we get to know the children, and they settle into their new learning environment this timetable will continue to evolve in line with the strengths and needs of each individual child. When there is a planned change to the timetable this will be shared with the families of children attending the Tudor ELP.
